OUR STORY
This WAS a real commercial aircraft converted to a functional simulator
Once it was a beautiful and graceful jet in active service for many years operating under commercial enterprise flying
thousands of kilometers to many destinations around the world... but the time came when it was retired from
service.
For most retired airplanes it usually means "to the graveyard." This is sad if you are still alive and in good condition. Her heart still beats, instincts awake, she waits for a pilot and to fly again. This is one of the few lucky planes which fell into the hands of people who would not let her die.
Replacing her legacy analog instrumentation with modern Boeing technology her heart and soul was returned by a team of Belgian
engineers.
Our 'Jet' arrived by truck in Porto 2019 from Belgium. It was a mission! legalizing, organizing and establishing the aircraft in the historic zone of Porto". You should have seen the eyes and questions from neighboring businesses and the general public. but in the end, we managed and loved the task!
Since arriving at her new home here in Portugal we have improved cockpit design and added some additional technical
aspects...
She may no longer have wings but so what, the simulation so closely resembles reality you would never know
once in the pilots seat and she gently lifts you into the air giving you the sensation of being the pilot of a real jet aircraft !!!!"
Unfortunately not long after our opening in Porto "Covid19" and related quarantine restrictions arrived. Like so many others we had no option but to close the business. We look to the aviators unwritten rule in an emergency 'First action, no action', analyze the problem and then follow with an appropriate response. In our case, after analyzing the problem we decided the 'appropriate action' was to relocate to Central Portugal for a quieter life and at the right time re-establish our simulator.
